The idea of such a powerful and capable spaceship was born in the mind of the administrator General Kaegar, when the discovery of the habitability of planets in the Trappist system was announced.

General Kaegar was a former army general who rebelled against the administration and using insane military might, made the former administrator to abdicate his sovereign seat of power. General Kaegar was supremely intelligent and tactical. He had already sensed that some intelligent alien species were lurking around within the Milky Way and would surely invade the humans. Thus, he ordered the intelligentia to work on an enormous spaceship capable of maneuvering at considerable proportions of the speed of light that could allow humans to to travel to the Trappist System in very less time than ever possible. This meant that humanity would then become an interstellar civilization.

The manufacturing of the mothership was no easy feet. The intelligentia worked tirelessly for years to develop an energy production system that could propel such a power-hungry machine. Dr. Milken Christ and his team found a breakthrough of powering the spacecraft that would propel the mothership for light years. He discovered that using the exotic materials of Jupiter's core as a catalyst to fuse hydrogen into helium, and further fuse the helium into carbon, released immense amounts of energy. Dr. Milken also suggested installing railgun accelerators within the mothership's tentative path to further accelerate it to high speeds. Another challenge they had to overcome was building the mothership with such materials that could tolerate the stresses it would face at such speeds. For this, the scientist Dr. Adam Matron developed an alloy of rare metals Platinum, Titanium and Chromium with special minerals called Zorlite and Black Quartz which were mined from Uranus' moon Ariel and Neptune's moon Neso, respectively. The resultant alloy was found to be excellent for building the mothership as it was incredibly strong, lightweight and able to protect against cosmic radiation.

Dr. Milken Christ and Dr. Adam Matron collectively developed the most powerful quantum computer "Anti-Fluid XP1", paired with unprecedentedly precise and accurate AI system to automate the navigation and control system of the mothership. The mothership was built completely in 12 years with the efforts of several scientists and other engineers.

The scientists also deployed resource excavating interplanetary probes on the rogue planet Tesla-7AS2523 to keep the resources ready to launch when the mothership arrives within the vicinity of a few light months of the planet, as the mothership couldn't be slowed down which otherwise would result in energy loss and delay of the mission.

It was planned that most of the crew would be put off to cryogenic hypersleep and at any given moment, 4 members of the crew would be awake, controlling the ship and monitoring it's working. They would transfer the duty to other members within every 6 months.

One of the crew members was Martin Sanders, who was a renowned astronaut and had been a part of the crew of the mission for excavating liquid oxygen from Enceladus.

The mothership would carry a crew of 2000 members, several vegetation resources, human embryos would help in repopulating the future society, terraforming resources to alter the exoplanet's geography according to convenience, smaller ships that would land on the exoplanet, several powerful warships and other resources.

The mothership was enormously huge so it was built in space with cutting-edge precision and was meant to orbit the exoplanet and not actually land on it.

The mothership was proudly named as Andromedae T1. With all it's advanced technology, capable and skilled crew and General Kaegar's administration, it was ready to face any obstacle that might be encountered on the long and arduous journey.
